Red and green lights are also present in the sky, although one may wonder why the sky looks blue. This is because the red and green lights are scattered less, but the blue light is more reflected. Apart from this, red and green light have longer wavelengths and are therefore not visible in the sky, but longer coloured light has shorter wavelengths and is more visible in the sky.
